Roberto Reula, sculptor

One day, a teacher gave him a piece of advice that would have a lasting effect: "Leave the institute, don't ever finish it... and join the School of Applied Arts". It changed his life. He became the one sitting in the back row and not watching the film, being at the premier, recognising the big picture, a whole life photograph. At the school he started wood carving and creating from stone; forging, drawing and modelling... One day, an important exhibition came along. He went for red and won - just enough to enter again and win another prize. And so forth, until today.

He has exhibited in a good number of places - some depressing and dark, others stunning. He has met marvellous people and terrifying guys. He has seen people cry with emotion upon seeing his pieces, and has felt the disregard of bring bought. He is a lucky man, as he has the chance to reach the very top and enjoy the views, whilst always keeping in mind what hell smells like. He is no more or less than that. He just does what he likes... but he likes some great things.
